Sports Academy

Instructor: Dvance

The Sports Academy is a program at Lehman High School that offers the student-athletes the support and guidance they need to meet academic eligibility. With over 250 athletes, on 31 teams, it is a cumbersome job for their coaches to be the only one that tracks their academic performance as well as their athletic achievements. Together with the guidance counselor, house coordinator and the family para, our athletes are pushed to their academic ability. The students are also made aware of the academic requirements they must meet in order to participate in their respective sports at the collegiate level of Divisions I, II, and III.
